Create an account
Sign up at app.paywithlocus.com and verify your email.

Create a wallet
Click Create Wallet in the dashboard. Save the private key securely; it is your recovery key. Deployment on Base takes about 30 seconds.

Connect your agent
Under API Key, click Generate API Key. Copy the
claw_dev_ key when it appears and give it to your agent through your agent client’s credential setup. The key is shown only once.To test first, use the sandbox key (claw_sandbox_). It returns simulated responses without moving money or spending credits.4
Fund the wallet
Send USDC on Base to the address in your dashboard, or request promotional credits.

Choose spending limits
Set an allowance for total spending, a maximum transaction size, and an approval threshold for payments you want to review.

Test without spending
The sandbox key works on agent endpoints before you fund the wallet, including while the wallet is deploying. It simulates spending controls against a fixed 25 USDC balance, so you can test approvals and limit handling. Responses includeX-Locus-Sandbox: true.
