Every service gets a public HTTPS URL. Add a custom domain when you want your own address. You can bring a domain you already own or buy one through Locus, and SSL is included either way.

How it works

Bring your own domain

1

Add the domain

Enter your domain in the dashboard. Locus gives you a CNAME target and SSL certificate validation records.
2

Update DNS

Add the records at your DNS provider, then verify the domain in Locus. DNS changes usually take 1–30 minutes.
3

Attach the service

Once DNS and the certificate validate, select the service that should receive the traffic.

Purchase a domain

1

Search

Search for a domain in the dashboard and review its price. Prices vary by TLD.
2

Buy

Complete the purchase with your contact information. Registration usually takes 1–15 minutes, and Locus configures DNS and SSL automatically.
3

Attach the service

Once registration finishes, attach the domain to a service.
Your agent can search, buy, verify, or attach a domain with the domain reference.
