Deploy with your agent
Send your agent the Build skill with a request like:Deploy this repository with Build with Locus. Add Postgres, configure the app’s database connection, and send me the live URL when it’s healthy.Your agent sets up the project, configures services, and follows the deployment. The getting started guide covers credentials and your first deploy.
What you get
- Three deploy sources: GitHub with automatic deploys,
git pushfrom a local repo, or a pre-built Docker image. - Managed databases: Add Postgres or Redis and connect them through environment variables.
- Public URLs and SSL: Use the generated service URL or attach your own domain.
- Separate environments: Keep development, staging, and production in one project.
- Deployment controls: Inspect logs, cancel a deployment, restart a service, or roll back.
How it works
1
Choose your source
Connect a GitHub repo, push local code, or provide a Docker image. Source builds can use your Dockerfile or automatic framework detection.
2
Configure your app
Set environment variables and add any databases. Your app must listen on port 8080 and expose a health check that returns HTTP 200.
3
Deploy and share
Locus builds and starts your services. Once health checks pass, share the service URL or connect a domain.
Key concepts
Pricing
Services and addons each cost $0.25/month, paid from workspace credits. Domain prices vary by TLD. See pricing and credits.Next steps
