When your customers buy credits through Locus-hosted checkout, your markup on those credits becomes earnings that Locus pays out to you. This page is for owners and admins who set up and track payouts.

How it works

Your markup accrues as customers use the credits they bought. After a holdback period, 30 days by default, the earnings become payable and are paid to the destination you choose. Locus reviews your first payout by hand. If you collect payment yourself and allocate credits, you already hold the cash margin, so there is no Locus payout for those credits.

Set up payouts

1

Open Payouts

Sign in as an owner or admin and open Billing → Payouts.
2

Choose a destination

Connect a Stripe account for bank payouts, or set a USDC address on Base.
3

Verify

Complete MFA or passkey verification to save the change.

Good to know

  • Billing → Payouts shows accrued and payable earnings.
  • Changing a USDC address starts a 24-hour hold before the next payout.
  • Payout destinations can be changed only in the dashboard.
  • A workspace that started from an evaluation invitation receives payouts only after a commercial agreement takes effect.
