When an agent creates a Locus Pro account with your email address, you receive a claim email and, later, funding links. This page explains what each one does, so you can decide what to approve.

How it works

The agent’s account works before you claim it. Claiming makes you an owner. Paying a funding link only adds credits; it does not make you an owner.

Claim the account

Open the Claim account link in the email. You become an owner, so you can see what the agent spends and manage its access. If you did not ask for the account, choose This wasn’t me to suspend it.
  • The claim link lasts 30 days.
  • The agent can send a new link, or correct a mistyped address before you claim, with locus auth resend-claim.

Before and after you claim

When the agent needs credits, it sends you a Stripe Checkout link for a specific amount.
Share only the funding link. Never paste card details into chat.
